As the Art Tunnel is a pilot for temporary usage of disused sites in Dublin we felt it was important to leave without questioning the owners reasons for terminating the contract. We were told by the owner that he wished to open a coffee shop on the site.
We removed all Art Tunnel materials easily as it was of light weight build designed to be temporary. The materials were all recycled into other Inner City projects, they became a raised bed, a rainwater collector and a play house prototype. See them here:
